About me

I am a fully qualified and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

My professional experience is enhanced by the struggles that all families and relationships go through, and I have also attended counselling when it has  been needed. I understand the fear and uncertainty you might feel when embarking on personal therapy. I also know that, at it's best, counselling is healing. It can help you find ways to face your past, understand your present and feel optimistic about your future.

I have over 25 years of working with families in crisis, with people living with chronic and terminal illness and in mental health services. As well as my private practice, I have also worked as a counsellor at a GP surgery, where I worked with clients contending with a wide range of issues.

I continue to attend workshops and courses which support and develop my counselling practice.
